Access
All content on the eanCampus is available to Full Individual Members of EAN, selected content on the eanCampus is available for Associate Members. Content can be accessed in multiple ways on the platform:
Home/Dashboard: Content that you have started, but not completed, as well as selected content based on your personal preferences will appear here.
Learning Catalogue: Find what you need in our extensive catalogue through keyword search or filtering by level, topic, completion, or type.
Topics: All content on the eanCampus is sorted under one of the 29 EAN Scientific Topics. Simply select your topic of choice and view all applicable content thereunder.
Faculty: Search for content from a specific eanCampus Faculty member by first selecting the first letter of the Faculty member’s last name. Simply select the appropriate profile and you will be presented with all contributions from that member.
History: All content you have started or completed is listed here. You can also search for a specific course through the search function.
As of January 2025, Associate Members will have access to a range of content including:

Non-members have monthly access to highlighted content on the eanCampus, as well as all eanCast: Weekly Neurology episodes.
Contents
The eanCampus boasts a large number of varying contents, which cater to all learning styles.
- Basic Courses – A foundational lecture, focusing on the basic knowledge of each EAN Scientific topic.
- Capstone exams – 10-question exams based on the content you will need to know from the ETRN.
- Clinical Skills – A series of videos taking learners through the essentials of clinical practice.
- Recordings
- Recordings of events or bespoke video content with little to no interactivity.
- Webinar recordings
- Congress recordings
- School recordings - Interactive Cases – A slide-based scenario where the user is presented with a fictional patient and walks through a diagnosis (and/or treatment) process.
- Interactive Modules – Existing sessions/webinars/virtual master classes which are cut up into smaller pieces with frequent interactive additions.
- Guidelines – PDF versions of EAN Guidelines with comprehension questions.
- Podcasts – 15–30-minute podcast episodes which can be listened to directly on the eanCampus or via your favourite podcatcher.
- Webinars – 60–90-minute live sessions on a specific topic, with up to 3 speakers and an audience Q&A.
- Interactive Master Classes – 60-minute in-depth live courses based on a previous congress presentation
Recordings of Webinars will be added to the platform as “Webcasts” shortly after the session has taken place. Interactive Master Classes will not be added as “Webcasts”, but you can find a variety of them as part of our Interactive Modules.

Badges
In order to earn a badge in a topic, you will need complete the following steps:
- Obtain 500/750/1000 points in your chosen track
- Complete a 10-question Capstone Exam with 70% correct answers
- Give feedback on the topic and contents
Once these tasks are completed, you will be awarded with your badge.
Please note that you will not be able to complete your Capstone Exam until you have first gained enough points in that track.
Points are awarded per minute (1 point per minute of completed content). For any content without a set duration (Guidelines, Interactive Modules, Interactive Cases, etc.), awarded points are based on the average duration of the content.
If you have not received points, but have completed an activity, please double-check that all activities have been completed in that module. Feedback will need to be completed in each module in order to receive points.
No, you are welcome to complete the badges in whichever order you wish.
Due to system requirements, points from any module can only be allocated to one track at a time. It is likely that a duplicate version of this content is available in a second track, which you may also complete to receive your points. If this is not the case, please note this in your feedback form or contact elearning@ean.org directly
No, you will need to collect the indicated number of points for your topic to unlock access to a Capstone Exam.
All topic badges do not expire at this point in time. However, this might be subject to change as the platform evolves.

All 28 EAN Scientific Topics as well as 4 EAN Corresponding Topics are available on the eanCampus. Additional topics may be added at a later date, based on the amount of content available.
Currently, no additional topics have enough content to warrant an additional track. All content outside of the 29 EAN Scientific Topics can be found under “Miscellaneous”.

Certificates are awarded for certain types of content:

A certificate is available when all activities within a course have been completed (e.g. video, quiz, feedback etc.). Should you have a problem downloading your certificate of completion or the certificate in incomplete, please contact elearning(at)ean.org.
Participants of EAN webinars or Interactive Master Classes are able to download their certificates of attendance until 3 months after the session has concluded. Should you have a problem with downloading your certificate of attendance or the certificate is incomplete, please contact elearning(at)ean.org.
The eanCampus is not CME Accredited, however, the points system allows for simple translation into hourly points which can then be submitted to your local authority.
