EAN’s Master Classes are held annually in Spring and Autumn by European experts in neurology for registered and selected (first-come, first-served) RRFS members.

Individual RRFS members can register for Interactive Master Classes via survey sent out via email bi-annually.

  • Recognize the diagnostic complexity and clinical presentation of mixed phenotype hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTRv) 
  • Understand the implications of overlapping cardiac and neurological features in ATTRv for diagnostic strategy, multidisciplinary management, and treatment decision-making. 

Dr Isabel Conceicao - Current and Emerging Therapies in aTTR Amyloidosis 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Review the current therapeutic options available for ATTRv-PN; Understand the mechanisms of action and clinical efficacy of novel treatments such as TTR stabilizers, gene silencers, and emerging therapies in ATTRv-PN 
  • Discuss the treatment strategies and patient management considerations based on disease stage and phenotype of ATTRv-PN
