EAN Advocacy
The European Academy of Neurology (EAN) works to reduce the burden of neurological diseases. As neurological conditions are among the leading causes of disability and mortality in Europe, the EAN engages with EU institutions, national health authorities, patient organisations, and other stakeholders to influence health policy, promote investment in neurological research, and prioritise neurology in public health agendas.
Through advocacy efforts such as the Brain Health Mission, the EAN drives policy change, equips healthcare professionals with advocacy skills, and raises public awareness to ensure brain health remains high on Europe’s health agenda.
