Ralph L. Sacco Scholarships in Brain Health
A unique new scholarship program from the American Academy of Neurology and the American Heart Association is now accepting applications.
The Ralph L. Sacco Scholarships in Brain Health, also known as the Sacco Scholars Program, will award two $150,000 scholarships each year. In 2024, the awards will go to early career trainees pursuing a two-year research or public health service project focused on preventing brain disease or maintaining brain health.

ECNP | Neuroscience applied
The co-morbidity study, which provides a first comprehensive attempt to quantity of the cost impact of comorbidities between mental health disorders (MHDs) and physical health conditions (PHCs), a critical but little studied and poorly understood area of health economics. The first paper, ‘Excess resource use and costs of physical comorbidities in individuals with mental health disorders: a systematic literature review and meta-analysis’, can be found here:

PNS | Peripheral Nerve Society
The PNS, in collaboration with the EAN, co-publishes clinical guidelines on various of rare diseases, aiming to raise awareness through educational materials. Here’s a link to the recently published guidelines, including CIPD and GBS:

PNS | Peripheral Nerve Society
PNS is currently partnering with the EAN on a new TTR-related Amyloid Neuropathy guideline. The Annual Meeting, scheduled for June 22-25 in Montreal, serves as the primary platform for knowledge exchange and research discussions.
