EAN: Neurology for undergraduate medical students

Are you a medical student interested in neurology and want to learn more about this fascinating specialty? This is your chance to take part in a high-quality neurology introduction course with interactive modules held by leading neurologists.  

In fall 2025, the EAN Student Task Force will hold its first online course about  
general neurology aimed at EAN Student Members (undergraduate medical students).  

The topics selected for 2025 edition are Dementia, Epilepsy, Stroke and Emergency Neurology.  

The course will take place across four afternoons during September/October 2025; each topic’s lecture will be approx. 2.5h long and participation in the course is free of charge. If you decide to register for the course – we assume that you will participate in all four modules. 
 

Eligibility 

  • You must be an EAN Student Member 
  • You must have completed at least one year of medical school 
  • You are studying in EAN Member country or Corresponding Institutional Member countries (Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauretania, Morocco, Nepal, Palestine, Tunisia, Syria) or in low and lower-middle income countries from sub-Saharan Africa

 
Application

  • For the application you must provide a motivation letter explaining your interest in neurology. All documents must be submitted in English. 
  • If you are not a member yet, we would be delighted to welcome you as a Student Member completely free of charge!
