Scientific & Coordinating Panel Chairs
Since the foundation in 2014, EAN has kept established Scientific Panels from the mother societies, but also over the years has established new Panels, and, also has a new type of Panel – the coordinating panels.
In this sub-page we honour and archive the co-chairs from these important working groups listed per term of office (each term has 2 years).
Scientific Panels
Each Scientific Panel is comprised of 2 groups:
- Nominations by our European National Neurological Societies who are experts in the relevant specialty for a term of 2 years.
- Every Full, Corresponding and Resident individual member can become a member of the Scientific Panels. Membership duration is unlimited for individual panel members.
Coordinating Panels
Every EAN Scientific Panel (SP) has a right to nominate up to 2 persons to represent the respective SP in a Coordinating Panel. These members form the core group. This way each subspecialty will be spoken for. In addition, every Full, Corresponding and Resident individual member can become a member of a Coordinating Panel. Membership duration is unlimited for individual panel members.
