National Neurological Societies as congress co-hosts
A New Chapter for EAN Congress Hosting
EAN Congress 2028, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
EAN is launching a new approach to organising it’s annual congress. Our new EAN Congress Co-Hosts approach presents an exciting opportunity for greater involvement and collaboration among National Neurological Societies across Europe. By inviting multiple societies to contribute to the Local Organising Committee, we can create a truly pan-European congress that reflects the diverse advancements being made in neurology throughout the continent.
This collaborative model has already shown its value, as demonstrated by the successful partnership between the Finnish Neurological Society and societies from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania in preparing the EAN Congress 2025. Such cooperation enriches the congress programme, strengthens professional connections, and allows for a broader range of perspectives and expertise to shape the event.
Looking ahead, opening the door to more societies not only enhances inclusivity, but also provides every National Neurological Society with the chance to showcase their achievements and contribute to the growth of neurology in Europe. In this spirit, we are pleased to launch a call to all National Neurological Societies that are Full Institutional members of the EAN to co-host the EAN Congress 2028 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Together, we can foster a greater sense of unity, innovation, and shared progress within the European neurological community.
