Membership Fees for Group Registration
You can make use of different membership statuses within group registration ONLY IF the group leader (the person registering the group members):
- knows every group participant
- their e-mail addresses which need to be linked to their MyEAN account
- active membership status
Otherwise, the normal group registration fee applies. Discount codes are not applicable for group registration.

The upgrade to the additional sessions is only possible on individual basis and needs to be purchased additionally by each participant themselves. During the registration you will be asked to enter the billing address. Since the address deviates from your contact information please select alternative billing address and insert the information of the third party.
2. Before you register
Upon payment of the registration fee, the participant will receive a confirmation that his or her registration is complete and effective by email.
Orders via bank transfer after 08 June 2022 may not guarantee access to the live congress on 25 – 28 June 2022 and will be closed.
If you wish to become an EAN Individual Member and benefit from reduced registration fees, please apply for membership first and kindly await approval of your application.
Please note that only those who have submitted their complete membership application before or by 31 May 2022 can benefit from the congress fee for members.
Everyone who applies for membership after 31 May 2022 has to pay the full congress registration fee. If you need help with your EAN profile or have questions regarding your membership status, please contact headoffice(at)ean.org.
It is very important to bring your own smartphone with you at the Congress. Polling, Evaluation and Q&A etc. will require your smartphone as well as a working Internet connection.
3. How to register
Group members have ALREADY created a MyEAN account AT TIME OF REGISTRATION (group without quota)
- Login into your MyEAN profile.
- Go to EAN EVENTS.
- Click on Congress 2022.
- Click on the register button and review and, if necessary, update your contact information
- Select group registration if you want to register 5 or more persons and enter a unique group name
- Start the registration with "Yes, all my group members have a MyEAN account" to make use of individual membership fees.
- Type in the desired number of tickets.
- Insert your delegates’ email addresses in the spaces provided - please make sure that these email addresses are linked to each particpants’ MyEAN profile.
- You will be provided with different registration fees depending on the individual membership statuses. Choose the appropriate ticket and click on select to confirm your choice of group member.
- If you have selected onsite tickets in the step prior, please indicate the preferred option for badge retrieval:
Pre-print by Ean: For badge pre-print please contact registration@ean.org to confirm your badge pick-up slot.
Onsite print: Participant will receive a separate email with QR code and instructions. - Accept terms and conditions as well as the cancellation terms to finish your registration.
- Select your preferred payment method (Bank transfer, PayPal or Credit Card).
- Enter the desired billing address – you can either use your main contact information or use an alternative address. If applicable provide your VAT number.
- You will have the opportunity to purchase insurance or book your accommodation through external links that are shown at the booking end.
- You will receive your order confirmation soon after completion.
- The invoice will be sent out upon payment is confirmation.
Adding participants after payment
- If you wish to purchase additional tickets, you can to so once you have paid your dues.
- Click on the tab My Registrations.
- Select the group for which you want to purchase additional tickets.
- Click on the button Add Tickets in the upper right corner and start the registration process for additional tickets.
Please note that an individual MyEAN account for each participant is required.
E-Mail addresses are necessary for the participants to:
- receive information on their participation
- access the interactive programme planner
- evaluate the congress + receive their certificates
- access the live webcasts + on-demand content
Group members have NOT created a MyEAN account AT TIME OF REGISTRATION (group registration with quota)
- Login into your MyEAN profile.
- Go to EAN events.
- Click on Congress 2022.
- Click on the register button and review and, if necessary, update your contact information.
- Select group registration if you want to register 5 or more persons enter a unique group name.
- Start the registration with "No, not all my group members have a MyEAN account" to buy a quota for the standard group fee which can be seen at the registration fees.
- Type in the needed amount of tickets
- Please select the preferred option for the Badge retrieval:

Please note, if you select group you are required to announce and assign your participants by 25 May 2022. Otherwise, access to the congress and venue cannot be permitted/ guaranteed.

- Select your preferred payment method (Bank transfer, PayPal, or Credit Card)

Allocating tickets and adding particpants after payment
- Once you have paid your dues you will be able to allocate tickets to group members.
- Click on the tab My Registrations
- Select the group in question
- Before you enter your participants’ email addresses, make sure that your group members have created their MyEAN accounts and provided you with their contact email address.
If you wish to purchase additional tickets, you can do so by clicking Add Tickets in the upper right corner

4. Information for group participants
Each group participant will need to request the below stated additional sessions and services on an individual basis.
- If you want to purchase an additional session, please login into your MyEAN account and go to your event participation (EAN Events -> My Registration) and click on the button upgrade (only available for onsite tickets).
- During the registration you will be asked to enter the billing address. In case the address deviates from the contact information please select alternative billing address and insert the information of the third party.
- If you are required to request a visa letter, please login into your MyEAN account and go to your event participation (EAN Events à My Registration) and click on the button “Visa Letter”
- If you like to know the status of your registration and participation, please log in to your MyEan Account and go to “EAN EVENTS” and click “My registration”: Group registration -> event participation: status

Pre-Printed by EAN: You will receive your badge from the group leader
Onsite Print: You will receive a separate email containing a QR code for printing your badge at the venue
5. Membership

6. Certifications
If you need your CME certificate, please evaluate the attended sessions until Tuesday, 28 June 2022, 23:59 CEST.
Please note that every participant registered via a group registration must evaluate the attended sessions individually through their MyEAN account, in order to get a certificate.

7. General Information

- If you wish to book a hotel through our partners, please do so through the platform Austropa interconvention. A wide range of hotel rooms has been reserved at very competitive rates and fair conditions in various hotels of different categories. - Either print this document or download it to your smart device.
- At the congress, please proceed to the badge printing stations.
- Scan the QR-Code and wait for your name badge will be printed out.
Please be aware that in case of losing your badge the registration fee is charged again.

EAN is monitoring the health situation and official regulations regarding Corona hygiene measurements in Austria very carefully.
We expect to have a clearer sight on those regulations onsite in end of May/Beginning of June.

8. Payment options
Cancellation Policy
- Provided you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this registration within 14 days without giving any reason by law. EAN will refund the full registration fee.
- No refund will be granted if the registration is cancelled after the withdraw period of 14 days, not even if due to visa rejection, illness, etc. Any cancellation shall be made in an email to registration(at)ean.org
- For any change of names, a processing fee of € 50 will be charged.

For payment via bank transfer, please include your order confirmation number (O-R-xxxxxx) as payment reference for identification purposes. Please note that bank charges must be covered by you.
Registration fees are to be paid in Euros (€).
8. General Terms and Conditions for Registration
Summary of the most important points General Terms and Conditions for Registration for the 8th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology 2022:
- Terms and Conditions for Registration must be accepted if you want to register for the Congress.
- EAN Congress 2022 is planned to be held be held onsite in Vienna/Austria and virtually in parallel.
- If the onsite congress cannot take place for reasons that are not in the sphere of influence of the EAN, the congress will take place virtually only.
- Virtual interactive Registration Fee is not refundable.
- Onsite Registrations will be transferred automatically into Virtual interactive Registrations if no Onsite Congress is taking place.
- The Difference between Onsite and Virtual interactive Registration fee will be refunded within 4 weeks after the Congress had been held.
- EAN has the right to restrict Onsite Access to vaccinated, recovered or/and tested participants. Please observe the current access restrictions.
- If access to the Onsite Congress is limited to a certain number of persons, only the number of persons permitted shall be granted access to the Congress centre on a first come first serve basis.
- All Registrations are not transferable.

6) Neurologists from countries belonging to the HINARI Group A and B list of countries as established by WHO may apply.
7) Will be available for purchase starting in March 2022.
8) This price is valid for individual group members if you buy a group quota. If group members have a MyEAN account at time of registration, membership fees may apply.
