Important Information regarding public transportation to the congress venue
 

Due to construction works, the arrival platform at the closest subway station to the congress venue, U1 Kaisermühlen/VIC, is closed during the congress.  Please click on the link below to find a detailed overview:

EAN highly recommends to follow this route and to be cautious with any other directions that may be provided online.
Look for guides in EAN branded T-shirts and signage along the way to help guide you in the correct direction.

You can comfortably reach the Austria Center Vienna on foot from U1 subway station Donauinsel in about 10 minutes. Platform closure at the Kaisermühlen/VIC U1 subway station Attention – this path is not barrier-free! Barrier-free alternative: remain on board for three more stations to Kagran, change to the U1 service traveling in the opposite direction (towards Oberlaa) and get out at Kaisermühlen/VIC. Kagran has a central, barrier-free platform.

Travel and Accomodation

For any questions arising onsite regarding travel and accommodation please approach the Travel Helpdesk located in the Registration Area. Our housing partner will be there to answer any enquiries. Please bear in mind that we can only help if bookings have been made with our travel partner.

Reduced Fees for Airport Transfer & Public Transport

Fast train from the airport to Vienna city centre:
In cooperation with the City Airport Train (CAT) we are happy to provide congress participants with a discount for the fastest airport transfer to Vienna city centre by rail. With a travel time of only 16 minutes, the CAT is the fastest non-stop connection from the airport to the city center of Vienna. Print your Badge

Registered congress participants should go straight to the self-print stations. Upon arrival, please have your QR code for printing your name badge ready.
The QR code is safely stored in your MyEAN account and has also been sent to you via e-mail – for easier navigation please look for the subject line: “EAN Congress 2022 – QR code for congress badge” in the email account used to register for the EAN Congress 2022.
You can either bring a printout of the attached QR code or download it to your smartphone.
Congress participants are requested to wear their name badge throughout the congress.
If you forget your badge, we can reprint it for a deposit to the value of a new onsite registration. The deposit will be returned once you show that you still have both badges, one of which we will keep. If you have lost your badge or do not show both badges the deposit will be charged.

Congress Programme & Virtual Congress Platform

Nearly the complete congress programme, consisting of scientific and educational sessions, ePosters, ePresentations, and industry sessions will be available to watch from 25 June 2022 until 9 July 2022 in the Virtual Congress Platform.
Nearly all sessions will be livestreamed during the official session time as stated on the Virtual Congress Platform and will be available on demand within 48 hours after the livestream, at the latest.

 In case you were not aware, you can create your Personal Programme in the Virtual Congress Platform! By clicking on the ‘Add to my programme’ button you can add sessions, lectures, ePosters and more to ‘My Programme’ on the session tiles or click on the heart in the ‘Programme Overview’ section of the programme.
Want to take this list with you? No problem! Simply click on ‘Print My Programme’ in ‘My Programme’ to generate a printable PDF file.
Set your local time!
Participants joining virtually can change session times shown in the ‘Programme’ to the time zone as used in your browser.

CME & Evaluation

Evaluation of congress sessions is available from the first congress day onwards and must be completed by all participants via the Virtual Congress Platform.
Sessions you have joined can be evaluated via the EAN Congress platform in a convenient manner. Scan the QR code that is shown on screens and other surfaces during sessions in the session rooms and click on ‘evaluate’.

If you prefer to evaluate a session later, find the relevant session in the Virtual Programme via the link below and click on the ‘evaluate this session’ button!

In order to obtain CME certification please make sure to complete session evaluation during the live congress (25–28 June 2022).

Live Q&A and interactive voting during sessions

At the EAN Congress 2022, onsite and virtual participants will be able to participate in Q&As and interactive voting!

Virtual Participants:
Please use the interface on the right-hand side of the livestream to ask your questions or participate in voting. The chairperson of the session will see your questions and can ask the speaker on your behalf.

Onsite Participants:
There are two options for onsite participants to interact with the faculty:

  1. Be brave! Stand up and use the microphones distributed in the session room and directly interact with the speaker and the chair of the session!
  2. All session rooms are equipped with QR codes (either on screen or printed), which offer the opportunity to submit your questions to the faculty, participate in interactive voting and evaluate sessions.

EAN TV

Due to the great success of last year, EAN will once more broadcast daily TV shows from the EAN TV Studio! Expect entertaining and informative live shows, interviews, Timezone Special Sessions and highlights of the congress programme! Tune in for following live shows:
Tune in to the EAN Morning Show for highlights of the day, interesting insights into neurological Vienna and interviews with guests hosted by Thomas Berger and Conny Lee, every day, 07:30 – 08:00
Close your congress day at the EAN Soiree together with Conny Lee, Thomas Berger and guests on Sunday and Monday, 18:30 – 19:00
Celebrate the closing of the Congress at the EAN Farewell Show on Tuesday 14:45 – 15:15.
