Copyright requests

Abstract submission implies that it has been approved by all listed authors.

Following review by a panel of experts, the EAN Programme committee ultimately decides the presentation type of an accepted abstract.

With submission, the abstract submitter confirms that all authors grant the European Academy of Neurology the right to initially exclusively be the first publisher and subsequently the non-exclusive right for further publication, reproduction, distribution, display and archiving of the abstract and its content in all digital, electronical, and print forms. This includes bus int not limited to databases, USBs, forms electronically accessed and digital networks, electronic transmission and communication systems.

Further, the abstract submitter, given abstract acceptance, grants the EAN exclusive right to retain income from of abstract publication by the EAN. While the listed authors retain copyright of the submitted and accepted abstract, incl. the pertaining moral rights, the EAN shall pay no fee to the author the license granted as stated; however, the author may only reuse or reproduce the abstract and its submitted content acknowledging the initial publication/presentation at the respective EAN Congress specifying the name and date of the event.
