EACCME Accreditation

The 7th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology – Virtual 2021, 19.06.2021-22.06.2021 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 25 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found here.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Please find here a list of countries that accept EACCME accreditation.

Your Certificate

If you need a report of your attendance in sessions, please evaluate all sessions that you have attended. To do so, please go to “Evaluation” on the menu bar below the session display, or evaluate until the deadline in “My Congress” area. Once evaluation of the sessions is complete, you can obtain a certificate, including all sessions attended, under “My Certificate” in “My Congress” area and in MyEAN area after the congress.

CME Certificates will be available to the participants of educational and scientific sessions, upon completing evaluation. Viewing and evaluating of the live and on-demand sessions is possible until 22 June 2021, 23:59 CEST.
For viewing and evaluating webcasts of the Virtual Congress 2021 from 23 June 2021 onwards, certificates without CME credits will be available.

If you are watching the congress in a team, please make sure that you are still logged in to the session with your personal device and evaluate the session in order to receive your certificate.

CME Certificates, including a record of attendance, will be available only to the participants of the live streamed and on-demand educational and scientific sessions during the congress (19-22 June 2021), who have evaluated them.

Evaluation deadline for CME Certificate: Tuesday, 22 June 2021, 23:59 CEST.
