History of Neuroscience Visit

Monday, 3 July 2023

The Semmelweis Museum is be honoured to receive our congressional participants in its permanent exhibition (an outline of the history of Western medicine). As all museums are closed on Mondays it is a private guided tour, and with no other visitors around. The Semmelweis Museum of Medical History (The Semmelweis Medical Museum) is housed in the building where Dr. Semmelweis was born in. Semmelweis was a Hungarian physician, now known as an early pioneer of antiseptic procedures. With its collection of medical tools and photographs, the museum traces the history of medicine from Graeco-Roman to the present day.

This event is organised by EAN and participants have to pay a registration fee to cover the costs for this event. Bookings can be made while registering for the EAN Congress 2023 via MyEAN.
