Copyright terms

EAN (and the European Journal of Neurology) owns the copyright to the presentations on the virtual platform as well as the recordings. However, the intellectual content displayed in them is still the property of the authors.

For Abstract Content, please cite properly (European Journal of Neurology) and inform them that the poster has been published at the congress. e.g.: First presented at the 8th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology 2022. www.eanvirtualcongress.org

In case you want to reuse the presentation itself, please contact EAN abstracts(at)ean.org

Abstract submission implies that it has been approved by all listed authors.

Following review by a panel of experts, EAN Programme Committee ultimately decides the presentation type of an accepted abstract.

With submission, the abstract submitter confirms that all authors grant the European Academy of Neurology the right to initially exclusively be the first publisher and subsequently the non-exclusive right for further publication, reproduction, distribution, display, and archiving of the abstract and its content in all digital, electronic, and print forms. This includes, but is not limited to, databases, USB, electronically accessed forms and digital networks, electronic transmissions, and communication systems.

Further, the abstract submitter, given abstract acceptance, grants EAN exclusive right to retain income from abstract publication by EAN. While the listed authors retain full copyright of the submitted and accepted abstract, including the moral rights, EAN shall pay no fee to the author for the license granted as stated. Additionally, the author may only reuse or reproduce the abstract and its submitted content by acknowledging the initial publication/presentation at the respective EAN Congress, specifying the name and date of the event.

Accepted abstracts will be published on our official website.
