Poster Display

By the presenting author registration deadline, 14 April, presenting authors of this presentation type must be registered with the Virtual Congress Ticket. 

Note that if the same presenting author was also selected for a different presentation type on-site, a Virtual Congress Ticket will not suffice, and on-site registration is required. 

Abstracts accepted as a Poster Display will be mentioned in the EAN 2027 - Congress Abstract Book by title, authors, and affiliations only. 

Poster Display: 3 minutes for audio narration/presentation and no live Q&A 

Poster Display is an on-demand poster format that allows authors to share their research without a scheduled presentation slot. 

Poster Displays are presented digitally on the screens in the Poster Area and through the Virtual Congress Platform. Participants can browse the available posters, select those of interest, and listen to the pre-recorded audio narration. 

Poster Displays are available on demand throughout the Congress, with no scheduled presentation time or live Q&A session. This gives participants the flexibility to explore presentations at their preferred time and pace, both in the Poster Area and online. 

Presenters must be registered for the Virtual Congress Ticket and are also welcome to register for onsite attendance in Gothenburg. 

Poster Display must not deviate from the given 3 minutes of narration (as indicated in your information mailing). EAN Head Office is at liberty to cut off any presentation that exceeds the given time. 
 

Filetype: Poster Display must be a single-page 16:9 PDF in landscape orientation with narration. 

Please be aware that for accepted Poster Display, narration is mandatory to complete your presentation upload. 

Structure: Title, Conflicts of Interest, Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Keep the content of each relevant section of your single-page PDF simple. The Conflict-of-Interest section must include the name of the supporting company or institution. All presentations must be unbranded. Specifically, presentations may not contain logos of pharmaceutical companies or industry leaders. 

If needed, add QR codes for links or embed videos to your presentation. Carefully follow the instructions sent to you by EAN Abstracts team and technical providers. 

There is no presentation template for the EAN 2027 Congress. Be aware of font and image sizes, as Poster presentations will be displayed on the Virtual Congress Platform On-Demand. 
  

All presenters (Invited Presentations, Oral Presentations, Poster presentations, and Poster Display) will receive a separate notification regarding scheduling after the abstract has been accepted. Subsequently, each presenter will receive an informative email containing information on the presentation process for the 2027 Congress including a presentation upload link, audio narration tool, as well as technical instructions. 

• The material needs to be uploaded via the presentation upload platform by the given deadline in the informational email. Presentations sent via email will not be processed. See ‘Important Dates’ for details. 
• Upload your presentation as soon as possible after acceptance to ensure that the presentation can be played in the Poster Area. Presentation slides must be uploaded 4 hours before the presentation slot, at the very latest. 
• If needed, technical support will be made available to all presenters. Indicate abstract ID, title, as well as the full name of the presenter in all communication with EAN Headoffice or technical partners.
